Whistler area is home to several species of salmonids including
rainbow trout, Dolly Varden char, cutthroat trout,
steelhead and five species of salmon.
Knowing
what a fish species needs to survive is half the battle. This section
of the site will give the novice fisherperson some background on
fish habit and habitat and fish identification.

requirements are met will result in fishing the right holes and
therefore increase your catch.
